Le Moulin de Lecq was formerly a fuller’s Jersey mill, with parts of the mill dating as far back as the 12th century. Le Moulin de Lecq is a historic Jersey landmark featuring the largest water wheel on the Island.
The tavern is the oldest part of the premises, with original stone and woodwork features that date back to the 12th century. The bar is built around the watermill’s cog wheels and gearing mechanisms, a unique feature that gives Le Moulin de Lecq its historical character. A warm and comfortable setting for socialising, the pub is also equipped with a digital projector screen, Wi-Fi internet access and a log fire that is lit during the winter months.
Our modern restaurant has a similar style and charm to the main bar. Its interior boasts traditional oak beams, a wood burning stove, elegant soft drapes and stylish furnishings. The restaurant’s seating capacity is 120 people with an adaptable layout that can be customised for individual requirements. Functions can be arranged as formal banquets, buffet or set course meals with personalised menus serving a delicious selection of fresh cuisine.
Moulin de Lecq’s bar serves one of the largest ranges of alcoholic drinks on the island, specialising in traditional free house ciders and real ales sourced from credited CAMRA recognised micro breweries. If required, we can also supply your preferred choice of wine and champagne using an extensive list of suppliers.
Moulin de Lecq offers gorgeous backdrop for any occasion, this genuine freehouse is the perfect venue for parties and celebrations. Whether you request a small intimate gathering or a large feast with live music and entertainment, Le Moulin de Lecq meets most budgets and requirements.
